Founded in 1992, cell phone provider PowerNet Mobile works with many of the country's top communications agents and affinity groups to offer a wide range of integrated voice, data and Internet solutions nationwide to residential and commercial customers.
The $45.99 PowerNet Mobile 700 plan includes 700 anytime minutes, call forwarding, call waiting (airtime is charged for both calls concurrently), caller ID, caller ID block, detailed billing, free domestic long distance, text messaging, three-way calling (airtime is charged for both calls concurrently) and voice mail. Phones purchased on a $27.99 or higher rate plan will receive a $100 credit. (Credit is applied as four consecutive $25 credits on your first four monthly invoices. Customers who revert to a plan lower than $27.99 per month within their first four months forfeit any remaining credit.)
PowerNet’s coverage is substantially better in the eastern part of the country; in the west the major metropolitan areas have coverage, though some western states have very little coverage.
