Page Plus offers a wide variety of prepaid wireless options…so wide, in fact, that it can be a bit difficult to fully grasp the many variations available. While we’d like to see the plans more straight forward, spending some additional could pay off because there are some options here that are likely to meet the needs of many customers.
Foremost among the interesting plans is monthly Talk n Text. The cost is $39.95 and it includes 1,500 domestic voice minutes and 1,500 text messages. For many users that will compare favorably to the unlimited plans of some of the highest ranked prepaid cellular providers. True, it’s not unlimited but it is close enough for many people and the price is somewhat lower than the best unlimited plans.
The Unlimited Anytime 24/7 plan falls into our Daily Plans category. For $2.49 a day the plan includes unlimited domestic voice service, text messages are $.15 and multimedia messages go for $.25 a piece. There’s a similar plan for $.99 daily but the unlimited calling is only on nights and weekends while anytime minutes are $.06-$.12 depending on how many minutes you buy at once. Page Plus’ Standard Rate Plan offers the same $.06-$.12 price range but applies to all voice usage. On this plan, text messages are $.08 each, MMS messages are $.25 and accessing the mobile web is $1.20 per MB. An odd little $.50 service charge is made on the 25th of each month that this plan is in effect.
Page Plus offers eight telephones from Motorola and LG. Prices range from $19.95 for a basic LG VX3200 to $69.95 for the popular and competent Motorola RAZR V3c. All phones offered by Page Plus are refurbished.
